Roz Savage Pacific row: The Inter Tropical Convergence Zone and the Equatorial Counter Current
Quiet in the Eastern Pacific
A tropical wave and a few areas of thunderstorms continue to work westward along the Intertropical Convergence Zone over the open waters of the Eastern Pacific Tuesday morning EDT, but there are no organized tropical systems to speak of.
Thunderstorms south of Central America continue to fire along a tropical wave that is primarily in the Caribbean Sea along 89 west. Satellite imagery continues to hint at the possibility of a mid-level low developing in this region. Thunderstorms also continue to erupt in this area as the wave moves west. If this area of thunderstorms persist, this may need to be monitored for possible development.
